The 20th Annual Art of Morion Picture Costume Design exhibit is opening up soon at the L.A. FIDM campus. If your an L.A. Native or just in the area I suggest you check this out. The exhibit has over a 100 costumes from various films of the year and allows you to have an up close and personal look at the detail and textile choices used. Last years high lights included costumes from Alice in Wonderland, True Grit, Robin Hood, The Tempest, Clash of the Titans, and my absolute favorite the costumes from Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky. The entire exhibit is free and opens on February 14th. I think I know what this seamster is doing come Valentine’s day, what better thing to do on Valentine’s day then to go on a date to a costume exhibit.
